Global Geospatial Institute Needs Your Help

Global Geospatial Institute (GGI) is the only industry accredited program in the State of Louisiana that prepares high school students and lifelong learners with the tools they need to advance in workforce development and compete in a global job market. Our goal is to bring the GIS Industry-based Certification course as quickly as possible into schools by garnering industry partners’ support to help us do so.

We are inviting you to invest yourselves through your various resources; your energy, your jobs, your skills, your financial resources in this shared vision to enrich the lives of the youth of our community. Our intention is to develop students into lifelong learners who will be able to live, compete and successfully function in a global society.

By lending your support funds will be used to provide continuation of Programs and Services for participants both students and teachers to impact our world. The generosity of our donors and industry partners also helps those who may not be able to afford the services offered by the Institute.

Maps and Apps combines the fun camp with the education that will keep minds challenged and active. Subjects covered span from drones to digital cartography. Maps and Apps GIS will keep participants brains and bodies engages with active geography! For technology and outdoor enthusiasts alike, Maps & Apps ensures a fun and technically educational experience. Camp booked with a minimum of 10 people.

Mighty Maps Institute

Teacher Professional Development - $15,000
24 educators, 12 hours of instruction, and seven (7) months (September – April, 3 hours per month) of ongoing teacher support at a school or a district. Travel not included.
